We're about to blast through the first tier with more than 150 entrants. (So if you haven't signed up, do it soon before it gets pricier.)
Here's some questions we just got:
Will the race be chip timed?
- Yep.
Are headphones allowed on the course?
- We're not USATF certified, so headphones aren't banned. Just keep in mind that you'll be running in the dark all night. Keep the volume low enough to be aware of your surroundings.
Will we still need flashlights now that all the park lights are working?
- It's up to you. I'd say bring 'em just in case. Cause you never know -- the lights may be working now, but race day is five months away.

111 folks have signed up for El Scorcho '08. Are you one of them?
The price goes up once we hit 150 entrants, so if you haven't registered yet, save some dough and get on it, amigos.
